Jack Combs enters his third season as an assistant coach in 2025-26.

In 2024-25, the Lions recorded their most wins in their Division I Era with eight. During the year, Lindenwood earned a pair of road wins over Big Ten Wisconsin and Notre Dame, respectively, with the Badgers ranked No. 9 at the time. David Gagnon and Owen Bartoszkiewicz earned Independent postseason honors being named the Forward and Goalie of the Year. Five players went on to sign professional contracts after the season.

Combs guided the Lions to a 6-18-4 record in his first season as an assistant coach. Lindenwood earned ties over No. 15 Ohio State and No. 3 Wisconsin during the season, both coming on the road. Kyle Jeeffers went on to sign a professional contract at the conclusion of the season. 

Over the last two season, Combs has been a player on the Allen Americans in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). Last season Combs lead his team to a 37-32 record and a berth to the 2023 Kelly Cup.

Combs scored 95 points last season including 36 goals and 59 assists. During the Kelly Cup playoffs, Combs appeared in 11 games while scoring five goals and posting three assists.

Previously, Combs brings 13-years of professional hockey experience while also owning his own company (Jack Combs Hockey Lessons) where he taught students the fundamentals of the game including stick handling and puck protection skills.
