Jenone Bell is in her second season on the Lindenwood women's basketball coaching staff.

In 2009-10 Bell was named the interim head coach early in the season and led the Lady Lions to an appearance in the HAAC tournament.

Prior to coming to Lindenwood, Bell was the assistant basketball coach for the past 12 years at Lincoln University (Mo.). She was also the head tennis coach there for 10 years.

Bell has also been as assistant basketball coach at Texas Southern University, University of California Riverside, and California State University San Bernardino, and was a graduate assistant at Kansas State University.

While in college at Cal State San Bernardino, she was a standout player. As a junior, she led her team to the NCAA Division II playoffs and was named to the all-west region team. She held all of the three-point school records when she graduated and still holds the record for career three-point field goal percentage with a 38.4 percent mark.

Bell graduated from Cal State San Bernardino in 1990 with a bachelor of science in physical education and graduated from Kansas State in 1994 with a master’s in secondary education. Bell grew up in the St. Louis area in Florissant, Mo.
