Katrina Beck is entering her first season as the assistant coach of the Lindenwood women’s basketball team in 2021-22.
Beck joined the Lions after spending the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant coach with the Illinois Wesleyan women’s basketball program. While on the IWU staff, Beck reached the conference postseason tournament twice and made one appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. She was responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations for the team, editing and reviewing film, recruiting players, and planning and organizing practices.
A four year letter winner and starter for the Illinois State women’s basketball team, Beck was also named a team captain as a senior. She finished her career fifth all-time in career starts and notched 200 assists and 357 rebounds in her four seasons. Beck graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 2019. She earned her master’s degree in sport management from Illinois State in 2021.
