Rick Pratt is the General Manager of the Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo., and he is in his 10th season assisting the women’s ice hockey team. Since Lindenwood moved to the NCAA level in 2011-12, Pratt has served as the program’s equipment manager.
Pratt has played a key role in the development of Lindenwood’s program, including winning four national championships at the ACHA level from 2006-2010. He brings many years of coaching, playing and officiating experience with him as he assists the program’s development at the NCAA level, including 14 years assisting Lindenwood’s head coach Vince O’Mara.
Pratt also oversees the Lindenwood Ice Arena which is the home to Lindenwood’s women’s hockey team, Lindenwood’s ACHA men’s hockey teams, and Lindenwood synchronized skating team. The arena has two ice rinks and both have heated seating for 750 spectators. Besides Lindenwood’s teams, the arena is open year round and serves the public with skating sessions for all ages, hockey schools for youths learning the sport, and group outings. The Lindenwood Ice Arena also has eight locker rooms, a fully-stocked pro shop and a food-service center. The arena is also the home ice for several area high school teams and has hosted both national and regional hockey and figure skating events.
In his spare time, Pratt enjoys golf and spending time with his wife, Anita.
