Prior to Lindenwood:
Attended Western Illinois and Highland CC … was named first-team all-region IV and was considered for All-American while at Highland CC … appeared in 21 games with 11 starts for Western Illinois … led the team with 18 steals and ranked second on the squad with 124 rebounds in 22.4 minutes played per game … recorded three double-doubles, two of which came on back-to-back games in the series against Denver … posted a season-high 15 rebounds against Omaha … scored 14 points versus North Dakota … ranked ninth in Summit League games with 6.3 boards per contest … made 27 appearances with 12.7 minutes per game at Western Illinois … averaged 3.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.4 percent from the field … had seven points, eight rebounds, one block, and two steals in a road win over Nebraska on opening night … scored in double figures three different times, including a 10-point, five-rebound performance in a 90-85 road win over Oral Roberts … ranked second on the team with 12 blocks.
 
High School:
Competed at Morgan Park … earned first-team all-state honors, while helping his team win back-to-back Illinois Class 3A State Championships … averaged 17.7 points with 13.1 rebounds per game as a senior … recorded 29 double-doubles in 34 games played.

The son of Robert and Tiffany Burrell, has five siblings; Romelo, Isaiah, Robin, Robert, and Kierra … brother Romelo played for Lindenwood (2020-22) … undecided major.
