Jim Jones has been coaching for the Lindenwood roller hockey program since the 2006-2007 season.
From the 2006-2007 season to the 2011-2012 season, Jones was an assistant coach for both the Division 3-Gold and Division 3-Black teams. Since the 2012-2013 season, Jones has been the D4-Black head coach and has compiled a 72-33-3 record. In his six seasons as head coach, the D4-Black Lions have had four runner-up finishes in the Great Plains Regional Championship. All four losses came against the eventual National Champion Lindenwood D4-Gold team.
Coach Jones is an 11-time Division 4 NCRHA National Champion, all as an assistant coach with the D4-Gold team.
