Jacob Hord was hired as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in the summer of 2023. Hord will oversee all aspects of athletic communications for Lindenwood men's basketball, women's volleyball, gymnastics, men's ice hockey, softball, beach volleyball and men's and women's tennis.
While attending Eastern Illinois University, Hord earned his master's degree in sports administration in May of 2023 while also being the graduate assistant for the sports information department.
Prior to his time at EIU, he earned his bachelor's degree in public relations from Penn State University in May of 2021 while also working as a student intern for PSU Intercollegiate Athletics.
Hord is a native of Altoona, Pa.
