Kimberly O'Brien

Kimberly O’Brien became the head coach of the Lindenwood Lionettes dance team in the spring of 2013. She brings a lifetime of dance experience to the position.

She most recently served as the assistant varsity coach for the Francis Howell High School dance team from 2009 to 2012. During her tenure there, the program won two Missouri State Championships and achieved a national number two ranking in consecutive years at the UDA National Dance Team Championships. She has also worked as a freelance dance instructor and judge, and most recently as a senior company dancer for the Ashleyliane Dance Company.

O’Brien was a member of the Lion Line dance team for four years and was on the squad for its first two national championships in 2008 and 2009. She graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor of Arts in in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2009, and received a Master of Arts in Special Education in 2013.
