Lindenwood men's wrestling competed in the Eastern Michigan Open on Saturday and nine different Lions placed at the event.
Wilson Metelus was the top wrestler after taking Lindenwood's only title at the competition, winning the 141 pound weight class. Three others advanced to the finals and finished second in
Corey Duncan at 133 pounds,
Chris Chionuma was 165 pounds, and
Spenser Daniels at 197 pounds.
Drae Cox and
Willie Wiggins each came in third, the former at 174 pounds and the latter at heavyweight.
William Martin was fourth at 133 pounds and
Devon Brun was fourth at 197. The final placewinner was vince Hannon who was sixth at 149 pounds.
Lindenwood will next compete in the Iowa State Open on Nov. 14.
