The Lindenwood Lions men's soccer team began their season on Friday night but it was not exactly what they were looking for. The Lions fell to Lindsey Wilson by the score of 5-0 in Columbia, Kentucky.

The story of the game was about two halves. The first half ended with the Lions trailing 1-0 and only being outshot 3-2. But when the second half began, Lindsey Wilson came out firing. The Blue Raiders outshot the Lions 10-0 and out scored them 4-0.

Lindsey Wilson freshman midfielder Lebogang Moloto scored the first goal of the game and added an assist on the Blue Raider's second goal.

The Lions do not have much time to think about their loss as they will take to the field again on Saturday against Lee University in Columbia.
