The Lindenwood men's wrestling team dropped a dual to NCAA Division II Nebraska-Omaha on Friday evening by a 40-3 score.
The Lions' lone victory came at 149 pounds where
Sam Schmitz defeated Esai Dominguez, the number four ranked wrestler at his national level. He recorded two takedowns in the first round and ended up with a 7-3 decision win.
The rest of the match was all Mavericks. Nebraska-Omaha had one major decision and four falls, including three straight from 174 pounds to 197 pounds to turn the dual into a rout.
