The Lindenwood men's and women's swimming and diving teams went on the road Friday night to take on Missouri State in a duel meet. The Bears would beat the men 156-80 and the Lady Bears were also victorious 175-56.

Javier Hernandez led the way for the Lions winning two events, the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly. Ramunas Paknys would also finish on top of the podium in the 100 yard backstroke. The 200 yard medley team was also victorious.

On the women's side, Sarah Billamosa finished in second place in the 100 yard backstroke while Kiana White also finished runner-up in the 200 yard individual medley.

Up next for the Lions is a dual against Illinois Institute of Technology next Friday in Chicago, Ill.
