Lindenwood Swimming Competes Against NCAA Division I Schools

This past weekend the men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed at two separate events. On Friday night, Lindenwood competed against NCAA Division I Saint Louis University and on Saturday competed at the 2010 AT&T Short Course National Championships which featured several NCAA Division I schools.

Against Saint Louis the men's team fell 186-73 and the women fell 198-58. Kiana White led the way for the Lady Lions finishing in second place in the 400 yard individual medley and the 200 yard backstroke.

On the men's side Yennis Chader, Marco Tscheschlok, and Matthew Friedhoff all had runner-up finishes.

The 2010 AT&T Short Course National Championships featured many of the top NCAA Division I Collegiate programs in the country as well as elite club swimmers from USA Swimming. Many of the top swimmers in the world used this meet as a tune-up for the World Short Course Championships.

Nine Lindenwood swimmers qualified for the event and the team finished 13th out 16 collegiate teams.

The swimming and diving teams will have almost a month off until they take on Washington University on January 7.
