The Lindenwood women's ice hockey team completed the sweep of Northern Michigan with an 11-0 win on Sunday.
Nine different Lady Lions contributed a goal in the game, with
Rebecca Bernet and
Lisa Moreau both tallying two goals. Moreau,
Krystal Martin,
Amy Stober,
Deven Staiger, and
Kendra Ganchar all recorded two or more assists.
Kennedy Rupp got the start between the pipes and saved all six shots she faced to earn the first win of her career. The Lady Lions outshot the Wildcats 77-6.
On Saturday, Lindenwood dismantled Northern Michigan by a score of 30-0.
A total of 10 different Lady Lions scored in the victory. Moreau, Bernet, Martin,
Kelsey Talbot,
Kyley Engstrom,
Kali Frederick, and
Brett Lobreau all scored two or more goals to lead the offensive outburst.
Kayetoinette Stock stopped all six shots she faced to record her fourth win and third shutout of the season. The Lady Lions outshot the Wildcats 75-6.
Lindenwood moves to 21-2-2 with the win and will head on the road next weekend to face Robert Morris College.
