The Lindenwood women's ice hockey team fell in its final official home game of the 2011-12 season. The Lady Lions lost to Robert Morris by a 6-0 score.

Earlier this season when the two teams met in a two-game series, Lindenwood allowed 11 even-strength goals against the Colonials and did not score any. This series, the Lady Lions allowed just three even-strength goals and scored one.

Once again though, power plays were the difference during Sunday's contest at the Lindenwood Ice Arena. Robert Morris scored on half of its power-play opportunities during the contest. Lindenwood, meanwhile, could not score despite 11 power plays.

Despite the final score, the game was the closest between the two this season. Shots were 47-31 in favor of Robert Morris, including a 24-16 advantage on shots on power plays. The big difference in the contest was the second period when the Colonials scored three times and had a 19-6 shot advantage.

Briar Bache received her first start of the season in goal. She made 41 saves and allowed just the one even-strength goal. Allysson Arcibal and Alyssa West combined for 15 shots on goal as those two players provided the top scoring chances.

Lindenwood, now 1-14-0 in its inaugural season against a NCAA schedule, will be off until an early December series against another future conference opponent, Syracuse.
