The Lindenwood men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against Principia College and Illinois College this weekend. The men beat Principia 74-23 and Illinois College 72-23. The Lady Lions beat Principia 63-18 and Illinois College 69-19.

It was a dominating day for both the men and the women as they won all but five events during the meet.

Leading the way for the men's side was a trio of swimmers who won two events each. Dale Hart won both the 200 and 500 yard freestyle. Gilad Brunfam finished in first in the 200 yard individual medley and the 100 yard butterfly. Colin Sharpe rounds out the trio, winning the one and three meter diving events.

A pair of Lady Lions also won two events. Stephanie Heutel won the 200 yard individual medley and the 500 yard freestyle events. MacKenzie Porter finished on top of the podium in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard backstroke.

Next up for Lindenwood is the Liberal Arts Invitational.
