The Lindenwood swimming and diving team fell to Drury University in Springfield, Mo. Friday afternoon. The men's team recorded 99 points to the Panther's 139 while the women's team had 89 to Drury's 143.

For the men, Uba Zavaleta claimed the top spot in the 1000 and 500-yard freestyle. Zavaleta finished the 1000-yard freestyle in 9:48 and 4:44 in the 500-yard freestyle. Also placing first for the men was Ramunas Paknys in the 200-yard backstroke and Arturs Plots in the 200-yard breaststroke. The men also took first in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Audra Thornton and Alysa Coleman led the Lady Lions with first-place finishes. Thornton claimed the top spot in the 500-yard freestyle while Coleman captured first in the 200-yard breaststroke.

The Lindenwood swimming and diving teams will back in the water Nov. 16^th when they travel back to Springfield, Mo. for the Drury University Invitational.
