The Lindenwood Lions wrestling team competed in the Loras College Open in Dubuque, Iowa on Saturday. A number of Lion wrestlers had a successful day on the mat.

Six Lindenwood wrestlers placed in the silver division, and three others placed in the Gold Division.

The Gold Division saw Corey Duncan (149 lbs) finish in seventh place with a 3-2 record. Also placing in the Gold Division were Jacob Janes (141 lbs) in fourth place with a 3-2 record, and Derrick Weller (149 lbs) in third place with a record of 4-1.

The highlight of the Silver Division was Matt Greene winning the 174-pound weight class. Padric Lynch finished second, Colton Orlando was third, Cody Pych and Matt Crawford were both fourth, and Brett Kingsley was fifth.
