The Lindenwood men's tennis team lost to McKendree by a 6-3 score on Thurs., April 12 in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions opened up doubles competition with a 2-1 lead as
Rodrigo Traldi and
William Hale won the No. 2 match 8-6 while
Rahul Sadhwani and
Gauthier Schilling beat the Bearcats 9-8 (4).
Eric Tucoulou and Thiago Mastroianni lost in the No. 1 match 8-5, respectively.
At the start of the singles division, Traldi fell in the No. 1 match 7-5, 6-8, 6-3 while Tucoulou won 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 2 game. The Lions did not win a single set after that with Schilling losing 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, Mastroianni fell 6-4, 7-5 along with Sadhwani losing 6-4, 6-4. Hale also lost by a 6-3, 6-3 score in the No. 6 match.
The men's tennis team now falls to 7-10 on the season. The Lions will host Nebraska-Omaha in St. Charles, Mo., on Tues., April 17. Match time is set to begin at 3 p.m.
