Glenville State picked up one first down on its next possession, but on third-and-eight from its 26, Malach Radigan recorded a sack and the Pioneers' punt gave the Lions the ball near midfield. Lindenwood's final drive was all Helmick. On the first play, he caught a shovel pass and advanced the ball to the Glenville State 19-yard line. On the second play, Helmick rushed the ball and found a small hole on the right side. He was able to stay inbounds and score a 19-yard touchdown.
