The Lion wrestling lost to McKendree in a very competitive dual meet on Tuesday night in Lebanon, Ill. Four Lindenwood wrestlers were able to record victories but it wouldn't be enough as McKendree took six of the 10 matches and eventually prevailed by a score of 24-19. 

Lindenwood's Jacob Janes (141 lbs.) recorded a victory by major decision, and Derrick Weller (157 lbs.) won by pinfall to lead the Lions. Corey Duncan (149) added a victory by 6-2 decision. LU's Blayne Shockley (125) won his match by forfeit. 

With his victory, Jacob Janes moved to 15-8 on the season and remains undefeated in dual meets (5-0).

The Lindenwood wrestling team will be in action again  Friday and Saturday in the NCWA National Duals in Dalton, Ga.
