The Lindenwood wrestling team lost on Thursday night to Central Missouri by a score of 20-15. The Lions drop to 2-4 on the season after the defeat.
After jumping out to an early 15-9 lead, the Lions would drop the next three matches and lose the dual meet 20-15. Lindenwood wrestlers won four of the 10 matches at the meet.
Lion wrestlers Blayne Shockley (125 lbs.) and
Craig Chiles (141 lbs.) both won their matches by decision.
Masen Ridenhour (157 lbs.) earned a victory by injury default.
Matt Greene (174 lbs.) improved to 5-1 in dual matches this season with his victory by default.
The Lions will be back in action Friday night against Central Oklahoma at 7 p.m. in Hyland arena.
