Lindenwood's men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed at a swim meet against Truman State Saturday. The men's team won the meet with the women's team falling to the hosts.
The men's team earned a total of 179 with the women scoring 113 total points.
In the second event of the meet, the men's 200 yard medley relay team came in first with a time of 1:37:20.
Event six saw freshman Joey Martin earn a victory for Lindenwood in the 200 yard freestyle. Martin won with a time of 1:48:27
The men earned the top three spots in event 12 the 200 yard butterfly. Gustavo Santa, Carlos Xavier, and
Gilad Brunfman were the swimmers.
Alicia McGillivray represented the Lady Lions with her victory in the 200 yard backstroke. She posted a time of 2:08:16.
Event 21 saw
Kyleigh Troxel and
Lena Kirchner earn the top two spots in the 500 yard freestyle. Troxel won the event with a time of 5:10.71
Next up for the swimming and diving teams is a meet Nov. 2 at the St. Peters Rec-Plex against Saint Louis University and Missouri S&T.
