The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams pulled a near sweep of Illinois-Springfield as the men won by a score of 8-1 and the women shutout the Prairie Stars 9-0 on Wednesday.

On the men's side Andre Masin, Sergio Lopez, and Anvar Akhmetov each beat their opponents 6-1, 6-1. Yoshi Ysa won 6-3 and 6-0. In doubles action Filip Bogic and Lopez dominated their competition 8-1.

For women's action Mariona Pinol shutout her opponent 6-0 and 6-0 in singles play. Gloria Marras, Clara Piccamiglio, and Alexandra Medvedeva each blanked their competition in one of their sets.
