Women's Hockey Has Final Regular Season Home Series

Series Notes
- Lindenwood has its final regular season home series of the 2012-13 season this weekend with two games against Robert Morris.

- The Lady Lions enter the series four points behind Robert Morris and RIT for third place in the CHA. The third and fourth-place teams will host the first round of the CHA Tournament on March 1-3.

- Lindenwood is on a four-game unbeaten streak and is 2-0-2 in that span. Robert Morris went 1-1-0 last week in a conference series with nationally-ranked Mercyhurst.

- Earlier this season, the Lady Lions and Colonials split a two-game series in Moon Township, with both teams winning by a 5-2 margin.

- Kendra Broad scored three goals in the first meeting with Robert Morris, and Jocelyn Slattery had one goal and three assists.

- Alison Wickenheiser scored two goals and had an assist in the third period to help Lindenwood win the first game of that series.

- Nicole Hensley made 73 saves and had a .924 save percentage against the Colonials.

- Robert Morris leads the all-time series with Lindenwood by a 5-1-0 mark, including a 2-0-0 record in games played in Wentzville.

- Lindenwood is 2-13-1 on its home ice this season, including a 2-5-1 mark in CHA games.

- Robert Morris is 7-4-3 away from home, including a 4-3-1 mark in CHA games.

A Look Back At Penn State
- Lindenwood went 1-0-1 for the second straight weekend and pushed its unbeaten streak to four games.

- Lindenwood won game one by a 3-1 margin. It was the first victory in its NCAA history while trailing after one period.

- Lindenwood scored two power-play goals, including the game-winner from Chelsea Witwicke, and one empty-net goal.

- Nicole Hensley earned the win after stopping 35 of 36 shots.

- Lindenwood and Penn State skated to a 3-3 tie in game two.

- The Lady Lions never led in the game and tied it for the final time when Allysson Arcibal scored with 42 seconds remaining while Lindenwood had an extra attacker.

- Lindenwood had its two highest shot totals of the season with 45 in the first game and 47 in the second contest.

- Allysson Arcibal and Alyssa West both had a team-high three points in the series with one goal and two assists.

- The Lady Lions went three-for-11 (27.3%) on the power play, while Penn State was just one-for-eight (12.5%).

- Lindenwood won the regular season series with Penn State by a 2-1-1 margin. It also finished 3-2-3 against the other teams that were in their inaugural season in the CHA.

Lindenwood Notes
- Goalie Nicole Hensley has won back-to-back  CHA Rookie of the Week honors. In that span, she has a 1.93 GAA and a .942 save percentage.

- Lindenwood has won five CHA awards this year. Nicole Hensley has won three Rookie of the Week honors, and Alysson Arcibal and Alison Wickenheiser have both been named CHA Player of the Week once.

- The Lady Lions have scored at least one power-play goal in four straight contests. They are seven-for-25 (28%) in that span.

- Nine players have power-play points over the last four games, including four players (Alison Wickenheiser, Kendra Broad, Chelsea Witwicke, and Alyssa West) with three points.

- Lyndsay Kirkham, Alyssa West, and Alison Wickenheiser enter play this week on a three-game point streak.

- Lindenwood will hold its Senior Day celebration prior to Saturday's game. It will honor three seniors: Brett Lobreau, Amy Stober, and Erica Wynn.

- All three members of this year's Senior class helped Lindenwood win the 2010 ACHA National Tournament and finish third at the 2011 ACHA National Tournament.

- Brett Lobreau is a two-time team captain and team leader as Lindenwood made the transition from the ACHA to NCAA level.

- Amy Stober collected one goal and one assist last year, including an assist on the game-winning goal versus Sacred Heart.

- Erica Wynn scored her first NCAA goal in January with a tally against nationally-ranked Mercyhurst.

CHA Notes
- Mercyhurst is the lone nationally-ranked team out of the CHA. The Lakers are No.  8 in the USA Today/USA Hockey magazine poll and No. 9 in the USCHO.com ranking.

- Lindenwood has its final regular season series on Feb. 22-23 at Syracuse. The Orange swept the first series by scores of 2-1 and 8-1.

About the Colonials
- Robert Morris is under .500 for the season, including a 2-9-1 mark since the start of January.

- The Colonials do have a winning record against nationally-ranked teams, including a 3-1-0 record against CHA-leading Mercyhurst.

- Rebecca Vint leads Robert Morris with 13 goals, 14 assists, and 27 points. Kelsey Thomas is second with nine goals, 12 assists, and 21 points.

- Kristen DiCiocco is the primary goalie. She has a 2.37 GAA and a .914 save percentage on the year.

- Head coach of Robert Morris is Paul Colontino, last year's National Coach of the Year. He is in his second season as head coach and has a 30-21-7 record.
