Box Score The Lindenwood women's ice hockey team saw its 2012-13 season come to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 loss to Robert Morris. The Lady Lions lost the CHA first-round series with the Colonials 2-0.
After the marathon triple-overtime game on Friday, Lindenwood was unable to generate any offense in Saturday's contest. Lindenwood had just 24 shots and it took just seven shots on goal while going 0-for-six on the power play.
Defensively, the Lady Lions held Robert Morris to 0-for-five on the power play and goalie
Taylor Fairchild made 40-of-42 saves. However, even-strength goals by Robert Morris late in the second period and early in the third period were enough for the Colonials to advance to the CHA semifinals.

Megan Cox blocked four shots. Both teams finished with a total of 22 blocks.
The game marked the final contest in a Lindenwood uniform for Lindenwood seniors
Brett Lobreau,
Amy Stober, and
Erica Wynn. All three were on the ice for what turned out to be the final game of the year.
Lindenwood ends the season with a 7-26-3 overall record. The Lady Lions had a strong finish to the year with a seven-game unbeaten streak during the month of February.
