The Lions tennis team defeated William Jewell 6-3 on Friday. Lindenwood took four of the six singles matches while winning one of the three doubles matches. The win gives the Lions a record of 4-4 on the season.
Number one singles player
Rodrigo Traldi was victorious 6-2, 2-6 and 10-6 in three sets to give Lindenwood an early lead.
Andrei Masin only surrendered one game when he won his match 6-0 and 6-1.
Eric Tucoulou,
Eddy Belhaouane, and
Johannes Rabenhorst also recorded wins for the Lions. Traldi and
Eric Tucoulou teamed up to win their doubles match 8-5.
Lindenwood will be back in action on Sunday at 11 a.m. when it takes on Southwest Baptist at home. It will be the Lions' first MIAA contests of the season.
