Box Score Lindenwood women's soccer started off the 2013 season with a 6-1 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Friday.
The Lady Lions started off with a
Taylor Wade goal within the first two-minutes. Wade added her second goal later in the half which was quickly followed by a flashy goal by
Hayley Wagner to give the Lady Lions a 3-0 lead at the break.
Lindenwood picked up where they left off when
Davah Bruce scored in the 51
st minute.Â
Danielle Torry added two more goals giving the Lady Lions their sixth goal of the game and 6-1 victory.
Bailey Tracy played all 90 minutes and allowed just one goal to earn her first win of the season.
In the first game on the day UMSL defeated Emporia State by a score of 2-1. Emporia State and Northwestern Oklahoma State University will play at 11 am on Sunday and will be followed by Lindenwood and UMSL at 1:30 pm in St. Charles, Mo. at Hunter Stadium.
