Box Score The final game of the season between Lindenwood and Minnesota State saw little action for 50 minutes followed by a wild finish. The Mavericks swept the season series by winning Wednesday's game by a 3-1 margin.

Neither team scored for the first 51:29 before Minnesota State finally got on the scoreboard. It took the Mavericks just over two minutes to score again with an insurance goal that appeared to seal the game for Minnesota State.

Lindenwood had plans though to make the end of the game interesting. Katie Erickson scored with 1:01 left in regulation to pull the Lady Lions within one. Lindenwood never got a shot though in the final minute and Minnesota State scored its third goal with three seconds remaining.

Chelsea Witwicke and Caitlyn Post assisted on Erickson's goal. Nicole Hensley made 28 saves in goal.

The game was the final non-conference contest of the year for Lindenwood. The Lady Lions return to conference play on Jan. 24-25 at RIT.
