Series Notes
- After a lengthy break away from the ice, with just two games over a 39-day period, Lindenwood returns to game action this week with a two-game league series at RIT. The teams wil play at 7 p.m. on Friday evening, followed by a 2 p.m. Saturday contest.
- The Lady Lions begin their final stretch of the regular season in which they will play ten CHA games over the next five weekends.
- Lindenwood enters the series with a 2-18-2 overall record and it is 2-7-1 in CHA play. The Lady Lions are five points behind Syracuse for fourth in the conference.
- RIT is currently 10-12-2 overall and it is in third place in the CHA with a 5-4-1 mark.
- Earlier this season, Lindenwood went 0-1-1 against RIT in Wentzville, Mo. RIT won game one by a 3-0 margin before the two teams tied 1-1 in game two of the series.
- Four of the five goals scored in that series came on the power play. Lindenwood was one-for-13 on the power play, while the Tigers were three-for-14.
- Lindenwood is 1-2-3 all-time against the Tigers, including a 0-1-1 mark in games played in Rochester, N.Y.
- In her career,
Nicole Hensley has a 1.72 GAA and a .955 save percentage against RIT.
- Among current players,
Kendra Broad leads Lindenwood with three assists and four points against the Tigers.
Lyndsay Kirkham and
Katie Erickson each have two goals and an assist versus RIT, and
Alyssa West has a pair of assists.
- RIT is 6-4-0 on its home ice this season. Lindenwood is 1-9-0 away from the St. Louis area in 2013-14.
A Look Back At Minnesota State
- Lindenwood had its final non-conference games of the season on Dec. 31-Jan. 1 with a two-game series at Minnesota State.
- Minnesota State shutout the Lady Lions 3-0 in the first game of the series. The Mavericks had just one even-strength goal, but also added a power-play goal and an empty-net goal.
- Neither team scored for the first 51 minutes in game two of the series. Minnesota State then outscored Lindenwood 3-1 in the final nine minutes.

Nicole Hensley made 73 saves in the series and had a .936 save percentage. She had a 2.51 GAA during the two games.

Katie Erickson scored the team's lone goal in the series, with assists from
Caitlyn Post and
Chelsea Witwicke.
- Neither team was very effective on the power play in the series, going a combined one-for-15. Lindenwood was scoreless with nine chances.
- The series was the first time since Nov. 15-16 when Lindenwood did not allow a team to score over three goals in a game throughout the series.
Lindenwood Notes
- Lindenwood went 2-7-1 during the first half of the CHA season for the second straight year. The Lady Lions hope to repeat or better last year's second-half performance when they went 5-3-2. That stretch including a seven-game unbeaten streak at one point.

Kendra Broad finished as Lindenwood's leader in points in the non-conference portion of the schedule with five. She tied with three others for the team-high with two goals, and tied with
Chelsea Witwicke for a team-high of three assists.
- In CHA games this season,
Katie Erickson and
Jocelyn Slattery both have team-highs of three goals and five points.
Lyndsay Kirkham has a team-high four assists.
Kendra Broad and
Alyssa West each have four points.

Katie Erickson is tied for first in CHA games with three power-play goals.
- Goalie
Nicole Hensley has much better numbers in league play. She has a .930 save percentage and a 2.55 GAA in conference action. In non-conference play, she has a .908 save percentage and a 4.10 GAA.

Chelsea Witwicke has been the team's top defenseman once again this season. She is tied for first on the team in assists, is first in blocks, and is second in plus/minus.
- Four of the team's freshmen have played in every game this year. They are:
Carrie Atkinson,
Nicole Rash,
Saville Pickar, and
Katie Nokelby.
- Lindenwood is 13-14-2 all-time in the months of January and February, compared to 4-51-3 in all other months.
College Hockey America
- One CHA team, Robert Morris, is nationally-ranked. The Colonials are No. 8 in both national polls. Mercyhurst is receiving votes in both polls.
- At the halfway mark of the conference season, Robert Morris leads with a 8-1-1 record. Mercyhurst is two points behind with a 7-2-1 mark.
- The reigning CHA Players of the Week are: Robert Morris' Rebecca Vint (Player of the Week), Robert Morris' Jessica Dodds (Goalie of the Week), and Syracuse's Jessica Sibley (Rookie of the Week).
About RIT
- RIT is 10-12-2 on the season, with seven of those losses coming against nationally-ranked programs.
- The Tigers have played seven overtime games this season. They are 1-4-2 in those contests.
- RIT is 13th in the nation by scoring on the power play 17.2 percent of the time. It is allowing power-play goals though 17.5 percent of the time.
- Kolbee McCrea leads the team with 12 goals and 17 points. Marissa Maugeri has a team-high 11 assists and also has 17 points.
- Ali Binnington is the team's number one goalie. She is 8-8-2 on the year with a 2.20 GAA and a .928 save percentage.
- Head coach of RIT is Scott McDonald. He is in his eighth year at the school and has a career record of 161-50-17.
