The Lindenwood men's soccer team fell 2-0 to No. 15 Northeastern State on Saturday afternoon in Tahlequah, Okla.
Northeastern State scored the first goal of the game in the 37
th minute and just one minute later scored the second goal of the game. The two goals for the Riverhawks in the first half was all the team needed.
Lindenwood outshot the Riverhawks 15-10 but could not get a shot pass the Northeastern State goalie.
The loss dropped the Lions to 7-5-3 overall and 5-3-1 in MIAA play. Up next for Lindenwood is a home game against Fort Hays State on Oct. 23.
