The Lindenwood women's soccer team gave up a goal just three minutes into the game and could not recover. The Lady Lions fell to the Central Oklahoma Bronchos 4-1 in Edmond, Okla. on Sunday afternoon.
After giving up the early goal, Lindenwood surrendered another goal in the 12
th minute. The Lady Lions cut into the two goal deficit in the 21
st minute when Kristen Crabtree scored an unassisted goal.
The game headed into the halftime break with the Bronchos leading 2-1. The home team put the game away early in the second half with two goals just 20 seconds apart.
Lindenwood dropped to 5-6-3 overall after the loss and 4-4-2 in MIAA play. The Lady Lions will play their third straight road game on Oct. 24 against Northwest Missouri State.
