The Lindenwood women's hockey team fell to Minnesota Duluth on Saturday afternoon by a 3-1 margin.

Special teams were the difference in the contest. Lindenwood had five power-play opportunities, but it was unable to score. The Lady Lions had four shots with a man-advantage, while the Bulldogs had six shots while shorthanded. Minnesota Duluth was two-for-four on the power-play, which proved to be the two-goal difference. The Bulldogs had seven shots while up a person, and Lindenwood managed just a single shorthanded shot.

Lindenwood's goal was scored by
Shara Jasper, her third of the season. It was an unassisted goal late in the third period. Minnesota Duluth scored once in the first period and two in the second period.

Nicole Hensley made 28 saves for Lindenwood.

Lindenwood falls to 1-4-0 on the year. The Lady Lions and Minnesota Duluth will face each other again on Sunday afternoon in Duluth, Minn.
