Lindenwood women's hockey struck first on Sunday at Minnesota Duluth, but the Bulldogs answered with five straight goals and they eventually defeated the Lady Lions by a 6-2 score.

Shara Jasper continued the hot start to her Lindenwood career by scoring for the fourth time in six games. Her goal came with just 50 seconds left in the first period, and it was assisted from
Katie Erickson and
Alyssa West.

The Bulldogs responded in the second period by outshooting Lindenwood 20-5. The Lady Lions held on to their lead for the first 11 minutes of the period, but Minnesota Duluth took the lead with back-to-back goals within 22 seconds of each other. The Bulldogs would add another goal in the second period and three more in the third period. Lindenwood would get one more goal in the third period when
Jordyn Constance scored with an assist from
Rachel Weich.

Lindenwood falls to 1-5-0 on the season. The Lady Lions begin CHA play next weekend at defending conference champion RIT.
