Lindenwood had their second win of the weekend against Mercy College after coming off a 4-2 win Friday night against Newberry College. Lindenwood started out slow, giving up the first goal of the game. Lindenwood answered back quickly though with
Greta Banholzer tying the game up 1-1 with her tenth goal of the season an assist from
Ashton Lichvar. This would be the score going into halftime.

The second half was all Lindenwood. The first goal of the second half wasn't scored until ten minutes in, but the Lady Lions went on a tear after it. Scoring the first goal of the second half was
Carly Brengosz. Two minutes later, Brengosz assisted on a goal by
Tara Robben, giving the Lady Lions a 3-1 lead. The Lady Lions weren't done yet,
Ashton Lichvar scored her fifth goal of the season to further the score difference. For the final goal of the game,
Chloe Bell scored her second goal of the weekend.

Victoria Gil had four saves for Lindenwood, giving her 75 on the season. Lindenwood dominated the Mavericks in shots 23-6. The difference was even bigger in corners, where the Lady Lions had 21 compared to Mercy's two, having none in the second-half.

The win improves Lindenwood's record to 9-5. The Lady Lions have won seven of their last eight. Coming up next for the Lady Lions will be their final home game November 2nd at 11 a.m. against No. 6 Limestone College.
