Series Notes- The Lindenwood women's hockey team begins College Hockey America (CHA) action this weekend with a two-game road series at RIT. The Lady Lions and Tigers will play at 7 p.m. (eastern) on Friday night and 3 p.m. (eastern) on Saturday.
- Lindenwood enters the series with a 1-5-0 overall record. Four of the team's losses have come against teams ranked in this week's USCHO.com top-10 national poll.
- RIT enters conference play with a 5-2-1 overall record, and it is receiving votes in the national poll.
- Last weekend, Lindenwood was swept in a two-game series at Minnesota Duluth by scores of 3-1 and 6-2. RIT warmed up for conference action with a two-game sweep over Brown by scores of 4-1 and 5-2.
- RIT leads the all-time series against Lindenwood by a 4-1-3 margin. The Tigers have a 3-0-1 advantage over the Lady Lions in games played in Rochester, N.Y.
- Last season, Lindenwood went 0-3-1 against RIT. In Wentzville, RIT won 3-0 in game one and the two teams tied 1-1 in the second game. In Rochester, the Tigers swept with scores of 4-3 and 2-0.
- Lindenwood finished fifth in the CHA last year with a 5-13-2 record, while RIT was third with a 11-7-2 conference mark. The Tigers won the CHA championship by capturing the conference tournament, including a 2-1 double-overtime win over Mercyhurst in the finals.
Lindenwood Game Notes- Lindenwood lost the opener to Minnesota Duluth by a 3-1 margin. The Bulldogs were two-for-four on the power play in the game, while the Lady Lions were scoreless in five attempts.
- Lindenwood scored the first goal of game two, and still led 1-0 midway through the second period. Minnesota Duluth scored six times in the final 30 minutes and won 6-2.

Shara Jasper scored two of the team's three goals in the series against her former team.
Jordyn Constance scored the other goal in the series.
- Lindenwood received three assists in the series with one each from
Katie Erickson,
Alyssa West, and
Rachel Weich.

Shara Jasper leads the team on the season with four goals and five points. She ranks second in the CHA in goals per game, and fifth in points per game. Jasper ranks 21st nationally in goals per game.

Alyssa West are tied for the team-high three assists this year. They are among a group of players tied for sixth in the CHA in assists per game.

Nicole Hensley is currently fifth in NCAA Division I, and first in the CHA, with 213 saves on the season.
- Two Lindenwood players have a positive plus/minus ranking.
Leah Elledge and
Katie Nokelby both have a +1 on the season.

Brooke Peden is also in double figures with 10, including five in the team's most recent game.

Jordyn Constance became the third Lindenwood player this season, and in the program's NCAA history, to play her 100th game last weekend in the second game against Minnesota Duluth. The first two players to join that club were
Katie Erickson and
Alyssa West.
- Lindenwood is 12-23-5 all-time in CHA play. The Lady Lions are 12-16-5 in games in which
Nicole Hensley started in goal.

Alyssa West is first among active players at Lindenwood with 58 career points. She is two points shy of the all-time Lindenwood program record in that category.

Nicole Hensley has started Lindenwood's last seven games against RIT. She has a .945 save percentage in those contests. Three times, Hensley has allowed just a single goal versus the Tigers.

Lyndsay Kirkham leads the team with three goals against RIT.
Katie Erickson has scored twice against the Tigers.

Scott Spencer is making his head coaching debut in the CHA this week. He has previous CHA experience though after spending five seasons at Robert Morris from 2006-2011. He had a hand in recruiting every member of the 2012 Robert Morris CHA championship team at that school.
- Lindenwood was picked sixth in the preseason CHA coaches poll. RIT was selected third, and had two of the six first-place votes. Robert Morris and Mercyhurst were tied for first in the poll, Syracuse was fourth, and Penn State was fifth.
- Lindenwood has its first home College Hockey America series on Nov. 7-8 against Robert Morris.
