The Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team fell to the No. 9 Central Missouri Jennies 4-0 on Friday night in Warrensburg, Mo.
The Jennies got the scoring going early and often. The first goal came just four minutes in and the second seven minutes later. The game headed into halftime with the Jennies leading 2-0.
Central Missouri kept the scoring going in the final half. The home team's first goal came 10 minutes in and closed out the scoring in the 81
st minute.
The win propelled the Jennies to the MIAA regular season championship.
Lindenwood dropped to 6-8-3 overall and 5-6-2in MIAA play. The Lady Lions will play their final regular season game on Sunday against Northwest Missouri at Hunter Stadium.
