The Lindenwood men's soccer team surrendered a late goal on Thursday night which led to a 1-1 tie against the Harding Bison in Searcy, Ark.
Andre Hayne gave the Lions the early lead with a goal in the 32
nd minute. That lead held up for most of the game until the home team tied the score with less than 20 minutes to play in regulation.
Neither team was able to break the tie in the final moments of regulation or in the 20 minutes of overtime. Lindenwood dominated the shot advantage with a 21-14 edge which included a 10-3 margin in shots on goal.
The tie moved the Lions overall record to 5-4-3 overall and 3-2-1 in MIAA play. Lindenwood will be back in action Saturday afternoon with a road game against Southwest Baptist.
