Lions Win Fourth Straight Game

The Lindenwood men's basketball team won its fourth straight game on Saturday afternoon after beating the Baker Wildcats 81-53 in St. Charles.
 
Lindenwood led for every second of the game and the only time the game was tied it was 0-0. The Lions started the game on a 20-10 run to start the game and then would push the lead to up as many as 18 in the first half. Baker was able to cut the Lindenwood lead to 14 at the conclusion of the first half.
 
The Lions started the half on fire shooting the ball and it continued as the half rolled on and Lindenwood ended the half shooting 62 percent.
 
The second half was much of the same for the home team.  Lindenwood continued its hot shooting from the fist half and extended the lead up to as high as 30 points. The Lions 55 percent shooting for the game was the highest of the season.
 
Chanse Creekmur led Lindenwood in scoring with 16 points. The senior had his best day shooting from the field and from behind the three-point line. He was six-for-nine from the floor and four-of-five from behind the arc.
 
Sam Mader also had a good day shooting going five-for-five for 10 points. Garrett Reeg led the team in rebounding with six.
 
The win improved the Lions to 4-2 overall. Up next for Lindenwood is the start of the MIAA conference season at Central Oklahoma on Thursday.
