Lindenwood's Pierre Desir Makes NFL Debut

Lindenwood University's Pierre Desir made his NFL debut this afternoon for the Cleveland Browns. Desir saw action during the team's game at Buffalo.

Desir was a fourth-round pick by the Browns in last year's NFL Draft. After missing most of the preseason due to an injury, he has been inactive in the team's first 11 games this season. Desir was activated for today's road game. He did not record a statistic during the contest but did see playing time in the game won by Buffalo by a 26-10 score.

Desir is the third Lindenwood player to play in a NFL contest, joining running back DeDe Dorsey and defensive lineman Brian Schaefering. Desir was the 2013 Cliff Harris Award winner as the best defensive player among the NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA levels.
