Women's Hockey Looks To Keep Momentum Versus Robert Morris

Series Notes
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team has its first College Hockey America (CHA) home series this weekend with a two-game set against Robert Morris. The Lady Lions and Colonials play on Friday at 7 p.m., and again on Saturday at 3 p.m.

- Lindenwood is tied for second in the CHA after going 1-0-1 in its opening conference series against RIT. The two teams tied 1-1 in the first game, and Lindenwood won 3-1 in game two of the series. The Lady Lions are

2-5-1 overall on the season.

- Robert Morris enters this weekend with a 3-8-1 overall record. The Colonials opened the CHA season with two losses to nationally-ranked Mercyhurst. Mercyhurst won the first game of that series by a 3-0 score, and it won the second game against Robert Morris by a 4-1 margin.

- Lindenwood is 4-10-0 all-time against Robert Morris, including a 4-4-0 mark in conference games. The Lady Lions are 3-3-0 against the Colonials in games played in Wentzville.

- Last season, Lindenwood went 1-3-0 against Robert Morris. The Colonials swept the series in Pittsburgh by scores of 3-2 and 3-1. The two teams split the series in Wentzville, with Robert Morris winning game one by a 6-1 margin, and the Lady Lions winning game two by a 3-1 score.

- Lindenwood's victory last year against Robert Morris was the first win in program history over a nationally-ranked team. The Colonials were ranked No. 8 in the country at that time.

Lindenwood Notes
- Lindenwood and RIT skated to a 1-1 tie in the first game of the series. The Tigers scored a power-play goal in the first period, and Lindenwood answered in the second.

- Lindenwood scored the final three goals in the second game of the series as it defeated the Tigers by a 3-1 margin. The Lady Lions scored the gamewinner midway through the third, and then sealed the victory with an empty-net goal in the final minute.

- Shara Jasper was named the CHA co-Player of the Week for her performance last week when she recorded one goal and one assist.

- Nicole Hensley was the CHA Goalie of the Week for the series against RIT. Hensley had a 0.96 GAA and a .973 save percentage for the series, and recorded 73 saves.

- Katie Nokelby had the team's goal in the first game of the series. In the second game, Britannia Gillanders had the game-winning goal, and Carrie Atkinson had an empty-net goal to seal the win.

- The Lady Lions had five assists in the series. Besides Jasper, the other assists came from Katie Erickson, Alyssa West, Lyndsay Kirkham, and Leah Elledge.

- Shara Jasper leads the team with five goals and seven points. She has recorded at least one point in five of the eight games this season, including six points in the last five contests.

- Shara Jasper is currently ranked third in the CHA in goals, and sixth in points.

- Katie Erickson and Alyssa West are tied for the team-high with four assists. They are both tied for fourth in the CHA in assists per game.

- Katie Nokelby leads the team with a +3 plus/minus on the season, including a +2 last weekend. Alyssa West and Leah Elledge are +2 on the year.

- Nicole Hensley is currently ranked third in NCAA Division II with 286 saves this season. She currently has 2,567 saves for her Lindenwood career.

- In her career, Nicole Hensley has made 391 saves against Robert Morris, including 90 in a triple-overtime CHA playoff game. She has a .938 save percentage against the Colonials.

- Among current players, Lyndsay Kirkham and Alyssa West lead with three goals against Robert Morris.

- Brooke Peden is the current team leader with 18 blocks, one more than teammate Katie Nokelby. Tae Otte and Carrie Atkinson are also in double figures.

- Power plays could be important this week as Robert Morris and Lindenwood have the two highest penalty minutes per game in the CHA. The Lady Lions have scored on 8.8 percent of their power plays, including 14.3 percent for the last three games. They have also only allowed one power-play goal in the last three contests.

- Lindenwood is allowing 33 shots on goal the last five games, a big improvement after allowing 49.7 shots the first three games of the year.

- The Lady Lions set a season-high 29 shots in the second game of the RIT series.

- Lindenwood has a week off after this series, before heading to Penn State for a two-game series on Nov. 21-22.
