In just its second season as a member of the Midwest Independent Conference, the Lindenwood women's gymnastics team finished third at its conference championship event. Lindenwood broke the school record in the uneven bars and scored its second-highest overall score in team history with a 194.250. The Lady Lions finished just 0.250 behind Texas Woman's for second place, and was just over a point behind the championship score of 195.275 which was set by Southeast Missouri. Lindenwood defeated Illinois Chicago (193.525), Illinois State (192.450), and Centenary (191.450).

Individually, the Lady Lions were led by their lone senior Emily Turik who became the first Lindenwood gymnasts to score over 39.000 in the all-around competition. Turik set or tied personal-highs in three events and finished with an all-around score of 39.025. She finished just 0.050 behind the all-around champion and was runner-up for the conference title.

Valeri Ingui and Aubree Horn both scored a 9.775 and Turik had a 9.725.

On the beam, the Lions had a mark of 48.500, tying for the second-best mark in program history for that event. Hannah Rector and Turik also scored above a 9.700 as both had marks of 9.725.

Turik led Lindenwood on its third rotation of the floor with a dazzling performance that scored 9.800. That routine was just the tenth in program history of 9.800 or higher, and it placed Turik third in the competition. Zabawa was second on the team with a mark of 9.750.

Lindenwood ended the conference championships on the vault and had a team score of 48.425, which was fourth-best in program history. Lindenwood leaders Turik and Zabawa both placed in the top-10 with a mark of 9.775.
