Lindenwood's tennis teams had a great day on the tennis courts over weekend against University of Illinois Springfield in Springfield, Ill. Both teams played six singles matches and three doubles matches. The women's team didn't lose one match, going a perfect 9-0. The men did well, but couldn't get the perfect record, finishing 8-1.

Standing out for the women was Gloria Marras, Mariona Pinol, Diana Castro, and Alexandra Medvedeva who didn't allow their opponent to score a single point on them. For the men, Filip Bogic, Nicholas Bruenger, Sloboodan Bavrlic, and Alejandro Ramos all handled their opponents.

Coming up next for the women's tennis team is the USML Invitational October 4th in Florrisant, Mo. The next event for the men's team will be the team's final fall event October 10th against McKendree University, in St. Charles, Mo.
