Lindenwood's wrestling team continued to compete in the NWCA National Dual. After going 2-1 yesterday, the Lions went 0-2 today, falling to Mercyhurst University 31-10 and barely to Central Oklahoma University 20-19. Lindenwood finished eighth in the tournament with a 2-3 record on the weekend.
Kenny Breaux and
Kyle Webb stood out for the Lions, scoring seven points each, with the help of a major decision in one of their two victories for the Lions.
John McArdle had a tech fall against Central Oklahoma to put Lindenwood in a position to make a comeback, but they fell just short.
Coming up next for the Lions is a dual against McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill. on January 14th at 7 p.m.
