Lindenwood's wrestling team traveled to Lebanon, Ill. on Wednesday evening to face the No. 7 team in NCAA Division II. The Lions came out victorious, showing dominance in their 23-12 victory.
Starting Lindenwood off properly was Marcos Rios-Tomayo, who got a major decision victory, 19-7.
Kyle Webb was the next Lion to win, with a 5-1 decision.
Terrel Wilbourn dominated with a tech fall at 3:45.
Derrick Weller scored a big victory for Lindenwood at the 157 weight class. At 184 pounds,
John McArdle put the dual out of reach for McKendree, by getting a major decision victory, 13-2. That didn't stop
Kenny Breaux from taking the returning national runner up into overtime. Breaux eventually fell 2-1, but almost came out with a victory.
