The Lindenwood women's gymnastics team swept all of the individual titles on Friday night in DeKalb, Ill., but Northern Illinois was able to come-from-behind to win the dual meet by a 191.950-191.275 score.

For the second straight week, Lindenwood led a MAC team heading into the final rotation, but the Lady Lions could not finish the victory on the bars. The Lady Lions recorded a team score of 46.950 on the beam, which opened the door for the Huskies to win with a 47.875 on the floor.

Lindenwood did outscore Northern Illinois in both the vault and bars, as it scored over a 48.000 in both of those events. The Lady Lions set a team record on the vault with a 48.600, and its bars score of 48.050 was the eighth-best in program history.

Individually,
Valeri Ingui led the way for Lindenwood. She won the all-around title with a score of 38.950, which ties for the second-best score in school history. She scored over a 9.700 in three of the four events and finished in the top-three in all four. Ingui won the individual titles on the beam with a 9.800, and on the floor with a 9.725. Her beam score was the eighth-best mark at Lindenwood.

Other individual winners for Lindenwood were
Rachel Zabawa,
Courtney Heise, and
Hannah Rector. Zabawa won the vault with a mark of 9.825, the second-best in program history. Heise won the bars with a score of 9.775, and Rector tied with Ingui on the floor.

Other scores on the night of 9.700 or higher included Heise scoring a 9.725 on the vault, and
Kierstin Sokolowski having a 9.725 on the vault and a 9.700 on the beam.

Lindenwood continues its season next week with a tri-meet in Cape Girardeau, Mo. against Southeast Missouri and Missouri.
