The Lindenwood women's volleyball team lost 3-1 to Missouri Western on Saturday night in St. Joseph, Mo.
The Lady Lions took set one by a 25-23 margin to start the night off on a high note. Set two was another good battle, but the Lady Lions lost 25-22. Missouri Western took the momentum into sets three and four to complete the night.
Lindenwood fell 25-13 in set three and 25-18 in the final frame of the night.Â
Jessica Krygsheld posted a career-high 17 kills and another career-best in digs with 11.Â
Alex Dahlstrom put up great numbers herself with 15 kills.
Lindenwood falls to 8-9 on the season with a 1-6 mark in the MIAA. The Lady Lions will travel to Springfield, Ill. to take on non-conference opponent Illinois-Springfield on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.Â
