The player of the day went to
Victoria Buysschaert as she scored two goals in a row off of passes from
Greta Banholzer and Lichvar. Buysschaert has recorded five goals this season.
Twelve minutes into the second half,
Karlie Quinn scored her third goal of the season, assisted by Motley to ice the Lady Lions' eighth victory this season.
Gil allowed only goal and saved two off of eight shots faced. This was the fifth game this season that Gil has allowed only one goal or fewer. The Lady Lions held the edge in corner shots, slapping 10 while the Golden Lions had five.
