The Lindenwood women's volleyball team fell to MIAA rival, Fort Hays, in four sets on Saturday night at Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
Lindenwood went neck-in-neck with Fort Hays through the first two sets, but barely lost both 25-20 and 25-21. The Lady Lions fought back with a 25-23 victory behind
Jessica Krygsheld's six kills and
Bailey Dvorak's four kills in the third set.
Fort Hays rebounded with a fierce 25-17 win in the fourth set to ice the game. Krygsheld and Dvorak tied with 10 kills each while
Kayla Guyot recorded eight.
Allyson Clancy contributed largely for the Lady Lions as assisted her teammates 45 times. The freshman has taken the most of her opportunity, posting 69 assists in her past two games while having 21 prior to this stretch in four other games.
The Lady Lions fall to 8-6 on the season and 1-3 in the MIAA. It will host University of Central Missouri on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm at the Hyland Arena.
