The Lindenwood women's volleyball team won its fourth straight home match on Friday night at Hyland Arena. The Lady Lions defeated Pittsburg State by scores of 25-17, 25-21, 22-25, and 25-18.

Lindenwood had little trouble in the first two sets, as it held Pittsburg State to just a .040 hitting percentage for those sets. The Gorillas came back though to take set three, helped out by 10 Lady Lions hitting errors. Lindenwood righted the ship though in the final set, having 15 kills and just three hitting errors as it sealed the victory.

Lindenwood had a balanced offensive attack with four players in double-figure kills and one other coming up one kill short of 10.
Alex Dahlstrom led the team with 16 kills, and
Kayla Guyot had 13 kills and a .400 hitting percentage. Dahlstrom had a team-high three service aces and 19 points, and Guyot led the team with eight blocks and also finished with 19 points.Â
Allyson Clancy had 54 assists and
Jessica Krygsheld led the team with 22 digs.

Lindenwood is now 13-11 on the season and 4-8 in MIAA play. The Lady Lions home winning streak will be tested on Saturday night when the team takes on Central Oklahoma at 6 p.m.
